A stem plant with small rounded or lanceolate leaves. Under bright lighting and sufficient CO2, the top leaves turn red and orange. Stems can reach 30-50 cm in length.
Care
Easy to maintain. Requires regular trimming to keep its decorative appearance. Responds well to CO2 and nutrient-rich substrate. Bright lighting is recommended for red coloration.
Fertilizing
Actively consumes nitrates and phosphates. Liquid fertilizers with micronutrients and iron are recommended for healthy growth.
Breeding
Easily propagated by cuttings: cut a stem tip 5-10 cm long and plant it in the substrate.
